Privacy policy.

Who this applies to

Clear Space Psychology (ABN 33 707 672 042), operated by Monica Ma (AHPRA Reg #PSY0002701499).

What I collect
  • Identity and contact details for clinical record keeping and Medicare claiming.
  • Medicare and private health details, where you choose to claim rebates.
  • Health information from clinical sessions, including symptoms, history, formulations, treatment notes.
  • Payment information via Stripe (through Halaxy). Full card numbers are not stored.
  • Minimal site analytics. No third-party advertising trackers.
How it's stored

Clinical records sit in Halaxy, an Australian healthcare practice management platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Who has access

Me, primarily. Limited access also: Halaxy as the practice management vendor, my accountant for billing, and my clinical supervisor for cases discussed in supervision (de-identified where possible). Information is shared with another health practitioner only with your authorisation.

How long I keep it

Adult clinical records are kept for 7 years from the date of last session, per the relevant state Health Records legislation.

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to or correction of your information by emailing monica@clearspacepsychology.com.au. Privacy complaints can be raised with me first, and escalated to the OAIC or AHPRA if not resolved.

Minimal analytics only. No third-party advertising trackers (for example Meta Pixel).
